Social Worker

I hold a Master’s degree in social work and an undergraduate degree in Exceptional Student Education (ESE) with an endorsement in English as Second Language (ESOL). I have a wealth of experience working with special needs students and English Language Learners (ELL), as well as work with adolescents, individuals, groups and their families, for the past ten years. Additionally, I have experience with working with families in the capacity of providing parental support in the area of parent-child relationship during supervised visitations.

I believe each person is an expert in their life. I guide clients by utilizing motivational interviewing, and the strength-based approaches. Therapy allows the individual, family, or group to receive guidance from a mental health expert in a safe and supportive environment. Social workers help clients learn coping skills to get them through difficulties by looking at the whole person and their environment.
