Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

With an approach to child centered therapy, I utilize multiple therapeutic strategies that are age-appropriate when working with children and adolescents with a variety of emotional, behavioral, and social problems.

I specialize in behavioral interventions, behavioral modifications and parent-child psychotherapy.

I work with children along with their parents to decrease challenging behaviors and increase social emotional resilience, model creative problem-solving skills and develop appropriate coping skills. With the use of systemic therapy, coupled with an innovative approach, I help clients develop skills to manage anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and grief/bereavement; adjustment, relationships, immigration, women’s issues, and life transitions; communication, conflict resolution, life coaching and spiritual guidance.

Every person is unique and benefits from a personalized approach. Throughout the therapy process, I believe in a non-judgmental approach that reflects cultural sensitivity to the unique and diverse experiences of individuals, couples and families as well as a supportive, caring, and honest therapeutic environment which is important to facilitate change and growth.
