Tamika Denson, MSW

Tamika Denson MSW, a Florida State registered clinical social worker with over 5 years of experience designing, implementing, and evaluating, social/emotional development interventions by utilizing comprehensive programs that promote and enhance success. She also has experience working with youth and families in low socio-economic environments using evidence-based curriculums.

Ms. Denson has been trained in and provides empirically validated such as, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy interventions to youth and adult populations. Her expertise extends to the DSM-IV-TR/DSM 5, diagnosing, client-centered counseling, individual and group counseling, parent/teacher consultation, case management, and bio-psycho-social assessments.

Ms. Denson is certified in working with Families and Schools Together through the F.A.S.T evidence-based curriculum. Ms. Denson is passionate about advocating, educating, and collaborating for overall mental wellness with individuals and within the community.
